This is by far the most complex dialog due to
1. The complex procedure specified by Amazon. This mainly requires a read of specific data just before any change of data
2. Actions involving change, not reading, take time, typically 4-5 minutes. This is compounded by having to press "Refresh" to see when the operation has finished.
3. Any change in the data grid only takes effect after the cursor leaves the cell being changed.

Activate with right clicking on remote window and select CloudFront. All other commands can be found by selecting a row and right clicking.

If you wish to create a distribution then select the bucket before activating the CloudFront window as this will automatically enter some detail for you. If you wish to create a distribution then first click on last line, this should enter the bucket you chose, if you forgot then use the drop down box to select a bucket, all you need to enter is the reference. This reference is required, but it is your reference so can be anything. Then click create, and the creation process begins. In fairness to Amazon this requires communication to all parts of the world and typically takes 5 minutes. To see this you must occasionally press "Refresh". Sorry that was the easy bit.

The difficult bit is to change detail or delete a distribution. Before any changes can be made to a distribution the row must be armed, this is achieved by either "Get Distribution Info" or "Get Distribution Config", a letter A will appear in the row. Now you can edit the row, example alter true for "Enable" column to false, ensure after typing false that the focus leaves the current cell. Ensure the row is still selected. Now select "Set Distribution Config".The next difficulty is as above that this actions require time 5 minutes to take effect and so the "Refresh" button is used.

If you wish to delete the distribution you must disable the distribution as just described and reselect row, re arm the row and then select "Delete Distribution", luckily this action is fairly fast. Phew!!
